Earlier this week, an important puzzle piece of Paramount+’s late 2026-early 2027 schedule fell into place. It was announced that the fifth and final season of Jeremy Renner’s Mayor of Kingstown would debut in January.

We now know most of the network’s big returns, with Dexter: Resurrection Season 2 premiering later this month, Yellowjackets Season 4 debuting on November 20, and MobLand and Tulsa King already back in action. But what about Taylor Sheridan’s beloved drama Landman?

Production on Season 3 recently kicked off in Fort Worth, Texas, so what’s the timeline for a return? When exactly will Tommy and the gang be back on Paramount+? Saddle up, Landfam. Here’s everything we know about the show’s Season 3 release date.

Is Landman New This Week?

Sorry, gang. There’s no new episode this week. The second season finale of Landman premiered January 18, 2026, on Paramount+.

Will Landman Be Back For Season 3?

You bet. Both critically and commercially, Landman has been one of Paramount+’s most successful. Unsurprisingly, the network renewed the series for Season 3 back in December 2025.

Is Billy Bob Thornton Leaving Landman?

Of course not. Tommy’s not going anywhere, and Thornton will be back for Season 3.

Will Landman Be Back In 2026? The Latest on The Landman Season 3 Release Date:

Landman won’t be airing any additional new episodes in 2026. Paramount+ has yet to announce an official release date, but production on Season 3 started earlier this month in Fort Worth, Texas.

With production continuing through early 2027, our best guess is that Season 3 of Landman will drop in mid-to-late 2027 on Paramount+.

Landman Season 3 Casting Info:

Not only has Lioness star Michael Kelly joined the show for Season 3 — portraying a “titan of industry who leads the largest oil management firm in the world” — but Colm Feore (Nathan), Mustafa Speaks (Boss), Bobbi Salvor Menuez (Paigyn Meester), and Francesca Xuereb (Cheyenne) have all been upgraded to series regulars.
