Authorities in the Philippines confirmed Sunday they found child pornography at Thomas Markle’s former home in the country — and that Meghan Markle’s estranged dad appears to be a “sex offender of the grossest kind.”

Police in the Philippines have been analyzing a trove of sickening images found stashed in Thomas Markle Sr.’s home in the resort city of Cebu, the Guardian reported.

Jonvic Remulla, the Philippine interior minister, told the outlet that a forensic data analysis of the alleged child sex abuse images will be complete within a week — but “all signs” currently show the retired Hollywood lighting director may be the “grossest” kind of sex offender.

“In these cases where family disputes are mixed up, we have to consider all the angles. Right now all signs point to a possible sex offender of the grossest kind. We want to be sure before we release the findings. The forensics data will be complete in a week,” Remulla said.

“Please give us a week to determine the contents and to come up with a definitive picture,” he said. “We will release a statement then.”

Remulla also confirmed to Agence France-Presse that Philippine national police have been inspecting Markle Sr.’s home in the south-east Asian country — and found a “trove of child pornography materials as well as a laptop”.

Markle Sr.’s son, Thomas Markle Jr., found the hoard of disturbing images and reported it to police, The Sun first reported.
