Snoop Dogg stopped off to play surprising private gig before joining Jay-Z at LA stadium show: sources

Before Snoop Dogg joined Jay-Z on stage at LA’s SoFi Stadium on Saturday night, the “Gin and Juice” rapper was spotted playing…. a bar mitzvah?!

Snoop and Dr. Dre performed a medley of hits — including “Nuthin’ But a ‘G’ Thang” and “Still D.R.E.” — in front of about 80,000 fans for Jay-Z’s second night at SoFi. (The Brooklyn rapper also brought out Bay Area hip hop legend Too Short as a guest.)

But spies said Snoop was on stage wearing the same outfit he’d worn earlier to a high-profile bar mitzvah bash in town — and some guests, including a prominent area plastic surgeon, filmed the private show and put a clip on social media.

A rep for Tha Doggfather did not get back to us.

Snoop, 55, has a history of playing lucrative private bar mitzvah shows! And he’s said he makes more bank than a stadium gig.

In 2023, the West Coast rap icon said in a Rolling Stone interview with fellow rapper Latto, “You’re going to have opportunities where somebody’s going to book you for a wedding that’s going to pay you more than you getting paid onstage” — to which Latto exclaimed, “Bar mitzvah money.”

The “Drop It Like It’s Hot” rapper further recalled: “No, for real. I did a bar mitzvah for some kids that was, like, five years old. I’m doing the radio version. They doing the motherf–king dirty version. So I’m like, “F–k it, we going to go dirty.”

Bravo host Andy Cohen also once asked Snoop on CNN’s New Year’s Eve special: “Have you gotten high at a bar mitzvah?,” to which the rapper said, “You wouldn’t believe me if I told you, but that answer is gonna be yes, yes, yes!”
