Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly jetted out of the UK with their kids as her father, Thomas Markle Sr., remains under investigation for child pornography allegations.

“She’s just really, really upset,” a friend close to the “Suits” alum told Hello! Magazine Monday, explaining that she and Harry took their kids, Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, somewhere overseas, though it’s unclear where exactly they’re headed.

“She keeps on looking at Lili and she’s in tears, and thinking about all the children, the alleged victims,” the insider told the publication. “She has young children herself. It’s just devastating.”

According to Markle’s pal, the actress “decided a while ago,” before the news made headlines, “that she was going to take herself away from the media and not look at anything, for her own mental health.”

However, the Duchess of Sussex, 45, has been bombarded with messages from her friends “saying how sorry they are.”

“But it’s just been an emotional rollercoaster for her,” the insider claimed. “She’s in bits.”

A rep for Markle and Harry, 42, wasn’t immediately available to Page Six for comment.

The couple traveled out of town after news broke that Thomas Sr. was being investigated for “hundreds, if not thousands” of child sex abuse images, which were allegedly recently discovered at his home in the Philippines by his son, Thomas Jr.

According to a report by the Sun, Thomas Jr., claimed he found the images in boxes and gave them to local authorities.

Meghan addressed the allegations against the patriarch Friday in a statement to Page Six, saying she was “deeply distressed” by the claims and sharing that she learned about her father’s alleged wrongdoings back in 2018 — the same year she married the Duke of Sussex.

At the time, the businesswoman was told the allegations “were being investigated,” leading to her estrangement from Thomas Sr., who was notably not at the royal wedding.

“I hope it can now be understood that, despite certain media publications’ distortion over the years, any distance from my father and my choice to not allow him to have contact with our children, was for one reason: to protect them,” Markle wrote.

“I trusted that the authorities were doing the same for other families,” she continued, adding that “the breadth of what has now been uncovered is more sickening than one could ever imagine.”

Meghan wrote her final letter to Thomas Sr. in December 2025, when he was recovering from having his leg amputated, allegedly writing that he would never meet her children or hear from her again.

Additionally, Thomas Sr.’s late first wife, Roslyn Loveless, who died in 2024, detailed his alleged abuse in a letter that ended up with London’s Metropolitan Police in 2019 and was later forwarded to Markle, sources told Page Six.

Thomas Sr., however, denied the allegations against him, referring to them as “sick lies” in an interview with the Daily Mail Friday. His daughter, Samantha, has also defended her father, claiming Thomas Jr. made up the claims as “revenge” for being cut off financially.

In happier news, Markle will soon be heading Down Under to film “Junior MasterChef Australia.”

The As Ever founder is joining the series, which returns after a six-year hiatus, as a “special guest” alongside host Poh Ling, per a press release from Australian network 10.

Markle called agreeing to be on the show “an easy yes,” saying in a statement, “I love cooking with my own kids, so seeing what these young stars create in the kitchen is going to be a lot of fun. I can’t wait to see what they cook up!”
