Lush NYC $7M penthouse up for sale reported as Lady Gaga’s former pad — but did she really live there?

A number of outlets posted stories yesterday about a Hell’s Kitchen penthouse that’s up for sale, and once belonged to Lady Gaga…

The only problem? The “Poker Face” diva never lived there at all.

“The condominium… boasts 3,700 square feet of space including a rooftop deck and has been listed for just under $7 million,” said a piece in People, adding that Gaga, Carmelo Anthony and Tracy Morgan also spent time living in the pad.

The Robb Report said that, “The duplex sits atop the former Hit Factory, the legendary recording studio where music icons like Michael Jackson, Madonna, Bruce Springsteen, the Rolling Stones, and John Lennon laid down tracks.”

And The Daily Mail wrote that, “Lady Gaga lived in the penthouse while working on her second studio album, Born This Way, released in 2011.”

But a Gaga insider tells us she never called the place home, as an owner or a renter.

Either way, Penthouse C at The Hit Factory Condominium still looks pretty swell, according to a Douglas Elliman listing.

A January Elle Decor post titled “Where Does Lady Gaga Live? Here is Every Address She’s Called Home,” did not list the Hell’s Kitchen pad as one of her abodes.

A rep for the star didn’t comment.
