Legendary rapper’s SUV collides with garbage truck on busy LA freeway
A member of legendary rap group Run-DMC was involved in a car crash with a garbage truck on a busy Los Angeles freeway Friday.
Darryl “DMC” McDaniels appeared uninjured at the scene of the wreck on the 105 Freeway, just east of Vermont Avenue, according to video footage. A black SUV was seen being towed from the scene after the crash.

Separate footage showed McDaniel’s standing next to the vehicle’s driver side with the door open. It’s unclear whether he was behind the wheel at the time of the wreck.
Footage also showed the SUV’s right side badly damaged.
