Sacha Baron Cohen shockingly dupes luxury California realtor in wild stunt from Ali G: Who Iz I?
An unsuspecting real estate agent showing a $30 million Bel Air mega-mansion found himself trapped at the center of Sacha Baron Cohen’s latest satirical ambush in Ali G: Who Iz I?, unwittingly forced to act as a domestic go-between during a chaotic property tour.
Adriel Hsu was credited on screen as the realtor showing the sprawling LA pad before he was met with absurdity the moment he introduced himself to the prospective buyers: Ali G and his pregnant partner Julie, played by British-Australian comedian Morgana Robinson.
The tour derailed from the opening minutes in the home’s grand foyer.
Spotting a sleek baby grand piano, Cohen’s character immediately criticized the instrument for being “unlevel” before dismissing it as a “sh*t table.”
Moments later, upon stepping out to view the grounds, Ali G called the open-air patio “cr*p” because it lacked a roof, forcing Hsu to patiently explain that the space was, by definition, an outdoor area.
The showing took a much more uncomfortable turn when Cohen’s character pulled the realtor into another room, dragging him into an escalating domestic standoff.
After learning his proposed television deal had collapsed, Ali G ordered Hsu to break the news to Julie that they had lost their HBO show.
Trapped as the couple’s middleman, Hsu was forced to walk back and forth between two separate rooms, relaying increasingly hostile messages as the pair refused to speak directly to one another.
The exchange deteriorated rapidly as the fight moved into the couple’s private sex life.
In one exchange, Robinson’s character instructed Hsu to tell Ali G: “You still can’t get hard… ever since I got pregnant.”
Returning to deliver the message, Hsu was met with Cohen firing back that it worked perfectly at the mere sound of her name.
The bizarre sequence culminated with Hsu being called back into the bathroom, where Cohen’s character was sitting on the toilet.
As the realtor attempted to excuse himself from the private quarters, Cohen insisted it was fine, continuing the negotiation mid-bowel movement.
Unfazed by the audible flatulence echoing through the bathroom, Cohen even extended his arm to give the suited realtor a fist bump from the toilet seat.
Despite the sheer absurdity of the encounter, Hsu maintained his professionalism throughout the ordeal, anchoring the scene as the straight man in what has quickly become one of the most widely circulated pranks from Ali G: Who Iz I?.
