Jets’ running back choice should be easy one — don’t kill Braelon Allen buzz

Oh, to be the coach who must decide which Jets running back will get the largest workload Sunday at Kansas City.

In one corner you have Breece Hall, the incumbent who’s been the team’s “bell cow” for the past three seasons, rushing for 2,935 yards and 14 touchdowns.

In the other corner is Braelon Allen, who’s the fourth-leading rusher in the NFL the past five weeks with 504 rushing yards, a 5.4 yards-per-carry average and two TDs while Hall has been sidelined with a quadriceps injury.

With Hall healed and set to return this week, what do head coach Aaron Glenn and offensive coordinator Frank Reich do about the running back workload?
