Famous ring girl’s sexy soccer costume takes shocking Instagram twist
Sydney Thomas, the viral ring girl from the Mike Tyson-Jake Paul fight in November 2024, threw fans for a loop when she revealed her Halloween costume.
The 22-year-old influencer dressed up as a sexy version of Norwegian soccer star, Erling Haaland, as seen in an Instagram carousel post on Wednesday.
Her post included an AI photo and a video of Haaland’s face, with his signature blonde hair before he cut it all off, on her body as a joke.
Thomas, who tagged Haaland in her post, sported a plunging crop top, micro shorts and high socks inspired by Manchester City’s home kit in the color sky blue.
Fans had a field day in the comment section over the Haaland content.
“Fourth pic threw me for a loop 😮,” one person wrote, referring to the snapshot of Haaland.
“Picture 4 is terrifying,” another added.
Others left crying-laughing emojis.
Thomas dressed as a sultry cheetah for Halloween last year.
Thomas became an overnight sensation during the Paul-Tyson rumble, which took place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on Nov. 15, 2024.
She was a ring girl with Most Valuable Promotions (MVP), the company Paul co-founded in 2021 alongside Nakisa Bidarian to focus on major boxing events for both men and women.
After that, Thomas landed brand deals on social media and interviews.
She celebrated reaching one million followers on TikTok after the fight and eventually signed with Creative Artists Agency for representation.
In February 2025, Thomas starred in the music video for “Oil Money” by country singer Graham Barham.
Thomas received her undergraduate degree in management and entrepreneurship from University of Alabama in May 2025.
She previously said she grew up in St. Louis, Missouri and worked as part of the St. Louis Cardinals’ in-game hype squad.
