Celine Dion caught totally rocking out, playing air guitar, while watching Metallica’s Las Vegas show

Celine Dion was spotted riffing on an air guitar during Metallica’s show at the Sphere Las Vegas.

In photos, the Grammy winner, 58, enjoyed the show from an upper balcony suite on Thursday evening alongside her sons, Eddy and Nelson Angélil, whom she shared with late husband René Angélil.

She wore a dark colored blazer and pulled her hair into a sleek updo. The “My Heart Will Go On” hitmaker rocked out on an air guitar, and was also photographed pumping her fists while listening to hits from the iconic metal band.

In another photo, she raised both hands above her head in “OK” signs as she moved to the beat.

Dion isn’t the first celebrity to be caught rocking out to the band’s ageless hits in recent years — in September 2025, Howard Stern was seen enjoying a performance by Metallica in the Hamptons during a Sirius XM event.

The band’s fall “Life Burns Faster” residency in Sin City kicked off on Oct. 1 and concludes this evening.

The “Because You Loved Me” songstress has previously completed two Las Vegas residencies of her own — both held at Caesars Palace’s Colosseum — between 2003 and 2019.

More recently, she made a triumphant return to full-length live performances with a 26-show Paris residency, which began with shows running from Sept. 12 through Oct. 17.

She’ll launch a second leg in May 2027.

“I promised not to cry,” she told the crowd last month during the inaugural show, according to CBC News. “Tonight I want to sing for you, for me, for life.”

“Finally,” she went on. “It’s amazing we’re all together. I made a promise. I made a promise to come back and be back on stage.”

Dion’s Paris residency comes as she battles the rare and progressive neurological disorder, stiff person syndrome.

The singer announced her diagnosis with the condition in December 2022, and since then has been open about her desire to return to the stage.

“Trying to overcome this autoimmune disorder has been one of the hardest experiences of my life, but I remain determined to one day get back onto the stage and to live as normal of a life as possible,” she wrote via Instagram in March 2024.

She added that she wants to send her “encouragement and support to all those around the world that have been affected by SPS.”

“I want you to know you can do it! We can do it!” she concluded the post.
