People are craving great entertainment right now, and it certainly does feel like Hollywood is going through a bit of a change where original ideas are actually being chased down.

Look at the success of “Obsession” for proof of that fact. Well, it now appears Ethan Hawke and Russell Crowe might have cooked up something special with “The Weight.”

The preview paints a very dark picture of a story of desperate men on a dangerous mission to smuggle gold in return for his freedom.

I agree with all of that, and I think “The Weight” looks outstanding. Plus, Hawke and Crowe together is a very stacked cast. Expectations are certainly high.
