Kylian Mbappe’s girlfried torn between Spain-France World Cup semifinal

Kylian Mbappe is looking to lead France’s soccer team to their third straight World Cup final match. And they’ll need to beat Spain on their semifinal matchup on July 14 for that to become a reality.
Mbappe has made headlines because of his relationship with actress Ester Exposito. However, since Exposito hails from Spain (she and Mbappe met during his time playing with Real Madrid), she has conflicting rooting interests for this semifinal match between two of the world’s best soccer teams.
Exposito was asked about whether she thought Spain or France would win the World Cup during an interview at the Monte-Carlo TV Festival last month and opted for a diplomatic answer.
“Oh, no! That’s a difficult choice for me,” Exposito said when asked about the eventual World Cup winner.
She was then asked specifically about Spain or France. She provided a cheeky look before saying, “Who knows?”

Fans have noticed that Exposito, who is usually quite active on social media, hasn’t been posting much in recent days. While there’s no way of knowing for sure whether this has to do with the World Cup, perhaps she’s trying to refrain from showing any allegiance until after this Spain vs. France game ends.
She deserves a lot of credit for not wanting to publicly go against Mbappe and his French side, which is a testament to her respect for him and for their relationship.
Certainly nobody can blame her if she’s privately rooting for Spain, given that’s her home country and where she still lives.
