Matthew Stafford’s wife Kelly blasts ‘limp wrist’ Broncos star after controversial penalty

Rams fans are still stewing over the controversial pass interference call that cornerback Josh Wallace received on Broncos wide receiver Pat Bryant on Sunday, which led to the Rams’ 30-26 loss.

Fans are especially upset after Bryant admitted that he sold the contact to draw the penalty flag.

Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford has not weighed in on the call. His wife, Kelly, did on Thursday.

Kelly Stafford posted a clip of Jason and Travis Kelce talking about the call on their most recent “New Heights” podcast episode.

“To me, that’s obvious that’s not [defensive pass interference],” Jason Kelce said about the call on Bryant.

“Whenever I see a guy’s arm go limp in the air, I think it should be mandatory that you don’t call it,” he added.

“The flop?” Travis Kelce asked.

“I’m dead serious! I’m over on the flops,” Jason continued. “I hate the fact that [Bryant] flailed his wrist, he went limp wrist. If you go limp wrist on a football field, you don’t get a call! That should be the NFL’s official stance: Limp wrist, no call! You’ve negated the call!”

Kelly Stafford posted this rant from Jason to her Instagram Story on Thursday and added the caption, “Not the limp wrist 🤣🤣🤣”.
