The View is soaking up the summer.

Last week, the show’s summer hiatus commenced, meaning that reruns of The View aired during its usual time slot. The episodes of The View that aired last week had originally aired in March and April of this year. The View is not the only talk show to do this. Live with Kelly and Mark is set to take its annual summer break later this month.

Unfortunately not. Today’s episode of The View originally aired on May 7, 2026, and featured a chat with The Comeback star Lisa Kudrow.

When Will The View Return?

A premiere date for the next season of The View, which will mark the show’s 30th season, has yet to be announced. Per Entertainment Weekly, The View usually kicks off its new seasons during the first week of September.
