There’s no need to travel to the “Ends of the Earth” this winter.

Less than a week after wrapping their sprawling, year-long ‘Cosmic Selector’ trek, Lord Huron just announced their ’23 Nights at the Broken Bottle: A Rambling Residency Tour’ that will send them to theaters, auditoriums, music centers, temples, halls and resorts all over North America from December 2026 through January 2027.

That includes three concerts in New York State. They’re scheduled to go down at:

“The show will be a neon and moonlit journey across the years,” the folk-rockers shared via Instagram.

At all concerts, Ben Schneider and co. will turn the stage into a desert honky tonk they call the “Broken Bottle” that’s appeared over the years in the band’s fictional universe. Songs — including hits and deep cuts — will be pulled from the group’s five album back catalog.

Prior to this upcoming run, Lord Huron took their 2025 album “The Cosmic Selector” on the road. That outing spanned 46 shows from July ’25 to August ’26.

Set List FM reports the quartet often played 20 tracks per show. Notable tunes trotted out include “The Night We Met,” “Meet Me in the Woods,” “I Lied,” “When The Night Is Over” and, of course, “Ends Of The Earth.”

“After being immersed for two hours in Lord Huron’s universe, what became obvious was that this is a band that isn’t content to just play great music,” Loud Hailer Magazine wrote in a review after seeing Lord Huron in concert at Red Rocks in mid-June.

“They are intent on weaving together mythic storytelling, awe-inspiring visuals, and beautiful musical arrangements for a complete experience.”

Ahead of the winter jaunt, Lord Huron will headline at Beech Mountain, NC’s Ski Resort on Saturday, Aug. 8 with Lucius.

Then, they’ll share the stage with Jack White, The Alabama Shakes and more at East Aurora, NY’s Borderland Festival from Sept. 18-20 at Knox Farm State Park.

Lord Huron new music

On July 18, 2025, Lord Huron released their fifth studio album “The Cosmic Selector Vol. 1.”

From the first strum of Schneider’s trusty six-string, the group sets the tone. Dusty, pensive, lilting, sensitive, longing, you know, all the hallmarks of great folk.

Standout songs on the 12-track record include the yearning, shimmering “Looking Back,” feel-good, summery, Dr. Dog-esque “Bag of Bones,” plodding, bluegrass-y bop “Nothing I Need,” surprisingly dance-y jam “Who Laughs Last” (feat. Kristen Stewart) and slow waltz “The Comedian.”

Still, pound for pound, our favorite here — although the doo-wop inspired “Fire Eternal” is a close second — has to be the album’s send-off, “Life Is Strange.” Schneider’s husky timbre sounds a bit sad, hopeful and nostalgic here, capturing what a bittersweet goodbye feels like. Splendid.
