A Georgia fast-food worker was gifted a custom Hummer SUV by his boss and co-workers — an epic upgrade to his morning commute after he spent months hunting for a budget-friendly ride.

Antonio Gibson, a dedicated employee at Slim Chickens, constantly went above and beyond despite early workplace struggles — staying relentlessly positive and generous, according to FOX 5 Atlanta.

“He’s a team player, does the right thing and finishes the job 100% of the way even when no one is looking,” his boss, Justin Kelly, gushed on Facebook.

The gift was a no-brainer for the restaurant crew, according to Kelly.

“After talking with the crew last night, we couldn’t figure out a reason why not to do something good for him,” he wrote.  

“After all, something I like to live my life by is “If you CAN do something good, you SHOULD do something good.”

Gibson was originally hunting for a cheap used car, but instead of bargain-hunting, he was handed the keys — and the title — to a custom Hummer fully decked out in Slim Chickens decor.

“What we wanted to do is we want to give you some keys to the Hummer,” Kelly told Gibson as his colleagues gathered around.

When he first started, Gibson made frequent mistakes but still contributed to the team.

Part of Gibson’s first paycheck, which he called the “big boy check,” went to buying his coworkers food, snacks and Red Bulls, Kelly said.

Video footage posted on Kelly’s Facebook page shows Gibson grinning ear to ear, laughing in disbelief.
