Left-leaning Democrats with ties to Mayor Zohran Mamdani are hosting a big Manhattan fundraiser for Israel-bashing Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed.

The bash will take place on the Bowery on October 5, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., according to a flyer for the event.

Co-hosts include jeweler Alexis Bittar, former R.E.M. frontman Michael Stipe, presumptive House Democratic Rep. Brad Lander, former Congressman Jamaal Bowman and Brooklyn Councilman Chi Osse.

Two Mamdani campaign confidantes — political strategists Andrew Bard Esptein and Zara Rahim — are also co-hosting the event.

“I’m just helping a candidate I believe in,” Epstein said Thursday.

It was unclear Thursday whether Mamdani would meet with El-Sayed when he’s in the city, or attend the event.

Contributors can donate up to $57,500 to the Abdul Michigan Victory Fund.

El-Sayed, who won Michigan’s Democratic Senate primary in August, is running against Republican former Rep. Mike Rogers for the seat retiring Democratic Sen. Gary Peters is vacating.

The contest has drawn substantial national attention and spending.

His positions on the Middle East mirror Mamdani’s. El-Sayed has accused Israel of committing genocide in Gaza and opposes US military aid to the Jewish state.

The Democratic nominee has come under fire for associating himself with extremist socialist streamer Hassan Piker, who said in 2019 that America “deserved 9/11.”
