The University of Mississippi students who were found dead under mysterious circumstances, where packaged kratom was also discovered, have been identified.

Robert Strang, a 20-year-old from Atlanta, and 18-year-old freshman Aidan Hamilton, died in separate incidents, Fox News reported Thursday.

“We are heartbroken by the loss of our dear son and are trying to process this unimaginable loss,” Strang’s family attorney told the outlet.

Strang was on the leadership team for Phi Delta Theta fraternity, according to the organization’s social media posts.

The university did not confirm their identities to The Post, referring to previous statements by authorities that the cases are not believed to be connected.

“Law enforcement is currently conducting two separate death investigations. At this time, we have no confirmed evidence indicating that the two deaths are connected,” the Lafayette County Metro Narcotics said on Tuesday.
