Raiders’ Jack Bech suffers broken arm in return to New Orleans amid brother’s murder in terrorist attack
An emotional return to the Caesars Superdome ended in devastating fashion for Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jack Bech.
During the Raiders’ 35-27 victory against the New Orleans Saints, Bech suffered an arm injury after colliding with Saints safety Justin Reid in the endzone.
After the game ended, NFL insider Ian Rapoport reported that the Raiders plan to place Bech on the team’s injured reserve due to a fractured forearm, and he is expected to return later this season.
Bech was returning to the Superdome for the first time since his brother, Tiger, was killed during the New Year’s Day terror attack on Bourbon Street.
When the Raiders took the field for pregame warmups, Bech was honoring his brother by wearing a shirt that read “LLT” — meaning “Live Like Tiger.”
He was also seen wearing orange cleats that had black tiger stripes to honor his brother.
Earlier this week, Jack Bech spoke with California Post NFL columnist Vincent Bonsignore and told him Sunday’s game was going to “be a little homecoming to rewrite a wrong and put a good taste in our mouth from New Orleans.”
He went on to say that he wants to give a new memory to New Orleans, as he only knows it as the place where his brother passed away.
Bech is in the middle of his second season with the Raiders after being drafted by them in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft.
Despite not logging a snap on Sunday, he’s been getting the third most snaps in the Raiders’ receiving rotation and has five receptions for 48 yards with one touchdown this season.
