The New York Jets travel to Chicago for Week 4 of the NFL season, where the question on everybody’s mind is still who will be Chicago’s starting quarterback as kickoff draws closer.

The cross-conference matchup is set to kick off at 1 p.m. ET, and as of Saturday night, head coach Ben Johnson had yet to confirm who will be the Bears’ signal caller this afternoon with Caleb Williams still out with an injury.

Case Keenum passed for two touchdowns in Monday night’s win over Philadelphia, but backup Tyson Bagent has been out of concussion protocol for over a week now. On Saturday night, sources told NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport that Bagent will start today’s game with Keenum serving as his backup.

The matchup is a particularly personal one for Jets head coach Aaron Glenn. After facing off against his former boss, Dan Campbell, in last week’s loss to the Lions, he’ll go up against Bears head coach Ben Johnson. Glenn previously served as Detroit’s defensive coordinator, while Johnson was the offensive coordinator. Both were hired into NFL head coaching positions in January 2025.

After the 31-24 loss to the Lions on Sunday, the Jets come into this game trying to avoid a three-game losing streak with five key players being ruled out due to injury. Breece Hall will be sidelined with an injured quad paving the way for third-year player Braelon Allen to be the team’s primary running back.
