Lingerie-clad Britney Spears blasts parents over conservatorship: ‘Yes, I’m bitter’

Britney Spears admitted she is still “bitter” over the 13-year conservatorship her parents subjected her to.

The singer shared one of her famous lingerie videos on Instagram over the weekend, going off on those who previously called her “crazy” in the since-deleted caption.

“They say the crazy ones are usually the best…I will admit it, I wasn’t crazy I used to be f—-g literally insane, but the ironic part is there’s a madness and a constant rush of just sitting still with the way my heart used to work,” the 44-year-old wrote in the caption, which Page Six read.

“Yes, I’m bitter, all the hours, seconds, time, and secretly, subconsciously knowing my capabilities as a woman,” she continued.

Spears claimed in the caption that for 15 years, she couldn’t “fly somewhere just to meet a friend” because of her grueling job.

“And just five years ago, I was able to hold my first one-dollar bill…And people sit back and honestly say I’m the crazy one…Jesus f*****g Christ…” Spears wrote.

She accompanied the long caption with a racy video of herself walking in her house clad in a pair of lacy black underwear and a matching bra. Spears topped off the look with black leather boots.

The “Stronger” singer was placed in a conservatorship in February 2008 after going through public mental health and personal crises, including her umbrella incident in 2007.

In July 2021, the singer broke her silence before Judge Brenda Penny in a California court, calling her conservatorship “abusive.”

“I’m here to get rid of my dad and charge him with conservatorship abuse,” Spears told the judge at the time.

“I thought they were trying to kill me… If this is not abuse, I don’t know what is,” she continued, calling the conservatorship “f–king cruelty.”

She was released from her conservatorship in November 2021 and has remained estranged from her parents, including her mom, Lynn Spears.

However, she still has a relationship with her two sons, Sean Preston, 21, and Jayden James, 19, whom she shares with ex-husband Kevin Federline.

Shortly after her conservatorship ended, she married longtime partner Sam Asghari in 2022, but they divorced in 2024.

She released a tell-all memoir in October 2023 and was arrested on March 4, 2026 for a DUI.

Her attorney pled guilty on the singer’s behalf in May, accepting what is called a “wet reckless” offer, which is a lesser charge.

The pop star was given one year of informal probation and was also ordered to attend and complete a mandatory, three-month alcohol school totaling 30 hours.
