Independent lawmaker Helen Haines was airlifted to hospital after being struck by a car in Wangaratta, northeast of Melbourne. Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said a terrorism task force would investigate the suspect, a 43-year-old man arrested by police, though authorities had not established a motive.
