The closure comes more than two months after the “Heroes” actress, 36, was found unresponsive at an apartment in Greenville, South Carolina, on Aug. 16.

The Greenville County Coroner’s Office previously determined that Panettiere died from the toxic effects of fentanyl, 4-ANPP, alprazolam, methocarbamol and quetiapine, according to her toxicology report.

An autopsy found no signs of trauma that contributed to her death.

Panettiere was pronounced dead at 2:32 p.m. after first responders attempted to resuscitate her.

A 911 call made that afternoon reported a woman in cardiac arrest.

The police investigation remained open even after the coroner’s office ruled her death accidental in September.

Panettiere’s on-again, off-again boyfriend, Brian Hickerson, and his brother, Zach, were at the scene of her death.

Zach reportedly made the 911 call that brought first responders to the apartment.

Zach Hickerson attempted CPR on the actress while speaking with the 911 operator, according to a recording of the call.

Emergency responders also attempted to revive Panettiere, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
