Amanda Seyfried’s Tiffany & Co. campaign includes a nod to Elizabeth Holmes
Breakfast at Theranos?
Amanda Seyfried slipped back into Elizabeth Holmes’ signature black turtleneck for her first campaign as a Tiffany & Co. house ambassador.
The actress, 40, won an Emmy in 2022 for playing the disgraced Theranos founder in Hulu’s “The Dropout.” She also makes an appearance in Nathan Fielder’s Holmes documentary, “You Can See Everything,” which has had moviegoers talking since its Oct. 16 release.
Holmes, who is now serving 11 years and three months in prison for fraud, famously modeled her uniform of black turtlenecks on Steve Jobs’ wardrobe during her Silicon Valley rise.
Seyfried adopted the look on set while filming the Hulu series, studying Holmes down to her baritone voice.
For Tiffany, the “Mamma Mia!” star gave the black knit a glittering upgrade with a $95,000 HardWear pavé diamond necklace and matching bracelet and earrings. Her blond hair is pulled into a low ponytail for the shoot, with a few loose pieces framing her face.
The photos accompany “You & Me,” a holiday short film directed by “Blue Valentine” filmmaker Derek Cianfrance for the brand’s “Love Is a Gift” campaign. The story follows a Tiffany & Co. Christmas ornament passed down through three generations of women.
“‘You & Me’ captures beautifully how a meaningful gift can hold memories and become part of a family’s story,” Seyfried said in a statement.
A mom of two herself, she shares daughter Nina, 9, and son Thomas, 6, with ex Thomas Sadoski, from whom she announced her split in September after nine years of marriage. She recently said she’s keeping her projects close to home while the exes co-parent.
