Savannah Chrisley’s brother pleads guilty to resisting arrest months after ‘aggressive’ cop showdown

Savannah Chrisley’s brother Kyle Chrisley pleaded guilty to resisting arrest months after he got into an “aggressive” showdown with cops.

The “Chrisley Knows Best” alum entered the not guilty plea at a hearing last month, per court records Page Six reviewed.

That same day, the court dismissed eight other charges against Kyle, 35, including public intoxication, three counts of assault on a law enforcement officer, disorderly conduct and three counts of retaliation for past action.

Last December, Kyle was arrested for getting violent with cops and threatening to kill them during a night out in Tennessee.

At the time, the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office told Page Six that deputies responded to a call after Kyle’s wife, Ashleigh Nelson, called dispatchers to report her husband was “being belligerent” and walking down the middle of a two-lane street while she followed him in her car.

“When attempting to speak with Mr. Chrisley, he became immediately aggressive, charged at deputies and began to throw punches and assault deputies,” the office told us. “After a physical altercation and deployment of OC Spray, Mr. Chrisley was taken into custody.”

Nelson said in an affidavit that her husband was making suicidal and homicidal threats and punched three different officers in the face. It also said that Kyle told the officers he “would kill all of them.”

Kyle has had several run-ins with the law over the years.

In May 2019, the former reality star was arrested for drug possession in Oklahoma.

At the time, Kyle also had a warrant out for his arrest for allegedly making death threats to his former partner earlier that year. However, the charges were later dropped.

In March 2023, Kyle was detained for aggravated assault after allegedly waving a “fixed blade” during an altercation with his boss.

Kyle’s issues with substance abuse prompted his famous parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, to adopt his daughter Chloe, now 13, in 2016.

Kyle’s sister Savannah, 29, announced this week that she was pregnant and expecting her first child with convicted felon Jason Galanis, 56.

The podcast host also revealed that they had secretly gotten engaged last December.
