We have a lot to watch this weekend. Not only is The Gilded Age returning with new episodes on HBO, but the buzzy new crime drama, Nocturne, starring Liev Schreiber, Zazie Beetz, and Stephen Graham, is coming to Apple TV.

Plus, we’ve been watching Love is Blind and the new Matthew Perry documentary on Netflix, and a slew of popular Paramount+ shows (MobLand, Tulsa King, and the returning Dexter: Resurrection). One show that won’t be returning this weekend is Landman.

Taylor Sheridan’s beloved drama about the wild world of the oil business in West Texas is an absolute blast. The first two seasons are now streaming on Paramount+, and a third is on the way. But when, WHEN will Landman return with new episodes? Why is Season 3 delayed?

Is Landman Airing a New Episode This Week?

Nope. There’s no new episode this week. The second season finale of Landman premiered January 18, 2026, on Paramount+.

Will There Be a Season 3 of Landman on Paramount+?

Yes! Critically and commercially, Landman has been one of Paramount+’s most successful shows. Unsurprisingly, the network renewed the series for Season 3 back in December 2025.

Landman Season 3 Casting Info:

Not only has Lioness scene-stealer Michael Kelly joined the series for Season 3 — playing a “titan of industry who leads the largest oil management firm in the world” — but Colm Feore (Nathan), Mustafa Speaks (Boss), Bobbi Salvor Menuez (Paigyn Meester), and Francesca Xuereb (Cheyenne) have all been upgraded to series regulars.

Why Is Landman Season 3 Delayed?

The first two seasons of Landman debuted in November of 2024 and 2025, respectively. Sadly, the third season won’t follow the same schedule. Production on Season 3 was delayed, and the show didn’t start shooting in Fort Worth, Texas, until October.

When Does Landman Season 3 Come Out on Paramount+?

We still have a ways to go. With production likely continuing through early 2027, our best guess is that Season 3 of Landman will drop in mid-to-late 2027 on Paramount+.
