The biggest breakout star of the 2026 World Cup might just be Erling Haaland’s Hermès Birkin bag collection.

The Norwegian soccer star has been jet-setting all over the world during the international series, carrying a multitude of rare Birkins along the way.

Snapped by paparazzi and sharing pics on Instagram alike, Haaland hasn’t toted any regular style — he’s been carrying some of the most exclusive oversized styles on the market.

The largest-ticket item thus far is a black multipocket HAC 50, which previously sold for $69,500.

Following closely behind are an Evercalf Toile Cargo HAC 40 ($50,000) and Endless Road 50 ($45,500). He notably brought the latter, a limited-edition style that depicts mountains next to a highway, when he touched down in the US earlier this month ahead of the World Cup kickoff.

All together, his publicly-shared Birkin haul includes 7 styles, totaling more than $317,000.

Fans have quickly taken notice.

One Instagram account outlined them all, asking, “Have you seen Erling Haaland’s custom Birkins? Baby, buckle up.”

The footballer isn’t the only celebrity who’s in love with the iconic style; Kylie Jenner has quite the closet full, recently toting her $63,000 crocodile Birkin 35 in “Knicks blue” to the NBA playoffs.

This past spring, Tara Lipinski and Johnny Weir recounted their purchase of matching white bags in Tokyo during the 2020 Olympics.

And, athletes like Stefon Diggs and David Beckham have brought the high-ticket items into more of the mens fashion world than it had previously been.

If Norway takes the trophy, we imagine Haaland might celebrate with another big-budget purchase.
