USMNT scores second-fastest goal in their World Cup history with impressive strike against Turkey

The United States men’s national team got on the board quickly against Turkey on Thursday night.
After an impressive first two wins of the World Cup, the Americans scored barely two minutes into their final group stage game with a goal from Auston Trusty.
An uncovered Trusty took a corner kick from Sebastian Berhalter. After a quick gather, Trusty kicked it past Turkey goalie Ugurcan Çakir and at the back post to get on the board first.
The goal was Trusty’s first of his international career.
It was the third straight game during this World Cup that Team USA scored in the first 10-plus minutes of the match.
