Traffic chaos as busy LA freeway closed after police shooting

All lanes of the eastbound 210 Freeway in the Glendora area were closed Friday morning after a police-involved shooting overnight in Covina.

A SigAlert was issued for the closure related to the initial disturbance call near Grand Avenue.

California Highway Police officers responded to a disturbance call west of Grand Avenue around 3 a.m. and spotted a vehicle driving erratically, according to KTLA.

Officers chased the vehicle after it failed to yield and exited the freeway to continue southbound on South Citrus Avenue.

Officers reached a Fuel Club gas station at 110 Arrow Highway in Covina, where the shooting occurred.
