Brittany Clark’s boyfriend reveals her touching final words as she desperately waited for help after alligator attack

MIAMI – Alligator attack victim Brittany Clark’s devastated boyfriend has revealed one of the last things she told him as she bled out.

Brittany Clark’s arms were ripped apart by the massive gator Sunday during a trip with her boyfriend, Chance Allison, and roommate, Jayden Hernandez, as they were sitting in the Econlockhatchee River at Little Big Econ State Forest.

Allison desperately tried to wrench Clark from the 13-foot beast as it sunk its jaws into the 31-year-old.

The “bad a–” bulldozer-driver was rushed to hospital in an ambulance but tragically died.

The couple – who had been making plans for their future together when disaster struck – had gone on the hike with her German Shepherd, Hokie, and his Pitbull-mix, Bulma.

“We were all sitting in about 3-feet of water next to each other and it just happened out of absolutely nowhere,” Allison, 30, told The Post.

“We were smiling and talking and then it was complete chaos.

“While we were waiting for emergency services to arrive Brittany just told me to make sure I took care of Hokie.

“It was one of the last things she said to me. I can’t recall anything else.”

Harrowing bodycam footage released on Thursday showed a Florida deputy’s desperate attempt to save Clark.

It showed the officer running through the brush and emerging at the sandy bank of the river.

Clark can be seen under a tent which Allison told The Post he used to protect her from the blistering Florida sunshine.

Allison, who runs his own business transporting dumpsters, said he was speaking out to set the record straight on what happened that fateful day.

“I am in no way, shape or form wanting any of the attention out of this,” he said. “I just want the facts to be right.

“I keep seeing negative stuff about us and things that aren’t true that keep getting out there.

“It’s just kind of heartbreaking but people are going to think what they think.”

Allison denied claims made by an anonymous hiker that he had warned Clark’s group not to get into the water.

“No one told us not to go in the water,” Allison said.

“We talked to one person on the way in and all he said that I heard was that he used to bring his dogs out here. I don’t know anything else that he said but that’s all I can recall.

“If he said it, it wasn’t vocal enough for us to catch it.”

He also clarified that he didn’t give Clark CPR, but instead focussed on trying to make her comfortable and on stemming the bleeding by using his hands and a towel to apply pressure to the wounds.

Allison also emphasized that his dogs were not in the water at the time of the attack, but were “near the water on the bank trying to fend off the gator and barking at it while me and Jayden dragged Brittany up the bank.”

Allison said he is still in the process of making arrangements for Brittany’s funeral with her family and is also planning a celebration of life.

“She was an awesome chick, man,” he said.

“Brittany was the most outgoing person and loved to be in the outdoors.

“Every weekend we would go on the water power boarding or kayaking or out in the boat.

“She made sure every weekend at least one of the days we were out on the water.”
