Joe Ryan ‘wants to win’ with Twins despite Yankees’ possible interest before trade deadline

When the Twins come to The Bronx, it’s normally a good time for the Yankees to feast.
Since the new Yankee Stadium opened, the Yankees entered Friday with a 41-14 record against Minnesota.
And as they headed into the series having lost a season-high seven games, the Yankees were in need of a turnaround.
Another benefit to knocking off the AL Central foes is putting the Twins in more of a sell mode, since they have two players who could potentially help the Yankees in catcher Ryan Jeffers and right-hander Joe Ryan.
