6 Shows Similar to ‘Dutton Ranch’ You Can Stream Right Now

Taylor Sheridan‘s impact on society needs to be studied.

Dutton Ranch just wrapped up its first season, and fans already need more. Without spoilers, the season finale was satisfying, but left fans with a long list of burning questions. Yes, fans can’t get enough of the adventures of Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser) and Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) and their new life in South Texas.

By now, you’re probably grieving the loss of your trusty Friday night Dutton Ranch watch. Although you will have to wait a little longer to get Season 2 of the Yellowstone spinoff, there are still plenty of others shows that have very similar vibes. We’ve almost lost count of how many Taylor Sheridan shows are currently streaming and set to premiere or return in 2026 alone!

So, in honor of Sheridan’s expansive universe, here are six other series that will fill the Dutton Ranch hole in your heart.

  1. YELLOWSTONE SEASON 5 PARAMOUNT NETWORK REVIEW

Duh! How could we not include Yellowstone on this list? Yes, if you’ve already watched Dutton Ranch, then you have most likely have already watched the parent series, also starring Reilly, Hauser, and Finn Little. (Plus other major talents like Kevin Costner and Luke Grimes!) Since Dutton Ranch Season 1 is over, this may be a great time for a Yellowstone rewatch! If you have no exposure to the incredibly popular Western, the series spans five seasons and chronicles the Dutton family as they manage their ranch amidst loads of drama.

  2. Ash Santos as Andrea, Logan Marshall-Green as Pete Calvin, Luke Grimes as Kayce Dutton, Arielle Kebbel as Belle, and Tatanka Means as Miles

Speaking of Yellowstone spinoffs, if you have yet to check out the Luke Grimes-led series, Marshals, now’s the perfect time! The Montana-set continuation picks up with Kayce Dutton after Yellowstone‘s finale and sees Grimes, Brecken Merill, Gil Birmingham, and Mo Brings Plenty reprise their roles from the original series. This time around, Kayce joins a team of U.S. Marshals including his old pal Pete Calvin (Logan Marshall-Green), Belle Skinner (Arielle Kebbel), Andrea Cruz (Ash Santos) and Miles Kittle (Tatanka Means). Each episode brings a new adventure, and after the Season 1 finale, we even have hopes for a Marshals/Dutton Ranch crossover episode.

  3. Landman S2

Landman is an interesting entry into the Sheridan Universe. The drama follows Tommy Norris (Billy Bob Thornton) as he navigates the dangerous oil business in West Texas alongside his loyal crew and loving, but wild family (played by Ali Larter, Michelle Randolph, Jacob Lofland and the legendary Sam Elliott). Naturally, the series has already been renewed for a third season, which was announced days after the Season 2 premiere earned over 9.2 million views in just two days.

  4. The Madison

Time for some necessary Michelle Pfeiffer appreciation. Yes, Pfeiffer joined the Sheridan Universe alongside Kurt Russell in The Madison. The show is quite a departure from the action-packed, heart-racing drama of other Sheridan shows, but still a compelling watch. The series chronicles the Clyburn family who make a pilgrimage to Montana from New York City to grieve after a devastating family tragedy. Do yourself a favor and catch up because the show has already been renewed for a second and third season!

  5. A man and a woman looking up, with a rural background.

If you’re in need of a break from Taylor Sheridan, consider Longmire as your next watch. Based on the novel Walt Longmire by Craig Johnson, the Western aired on A&E for its first three seasons before being picked up by Netflix for its final three seasons. The show follows Walt Longmire (Robert Taylor), a sheriff in Wyoming who investigates different murder cases while simultaneously dealing with his own trauma. The series also stars Katee Sackhoff, Lou Diamond Phillips, Bailey Chase, and Cassidy Freeman.

  6. Justified

Based on the popular Elmore Leonard series, Justified is centered on Raylan Givens (Timothy Olyphant), a U.S. Marshal who is reassigned to a team in Harlan County, Kentucky where he grew up after an incident on the job. Many fans love the show because of the rivalry between Givens and his longtime frenemy Boyd Crowder (Walton Goggins) who famously “dug coal together”. The popular series lasted for six seasons and even inspired the recent sequel series Justified: City Primeval.
