Live from Citizens Bank Park, it’s the 2026 Home Run Derby!

For the first time since 1994, baseball’s annual Home Run Derby won’t be airing on ESPN. The beloved event has moved to Netflix and will revert to a swing-based format. All eight participants will receive a set number of swins in each round — 20 in Round 1 and 15 in Rounds 2 and 3 — moving away from the timer-based setup the Derby’s used since 2015. This year’s participants feature a bevy of baseball’s most feared hitters, including Kyle Schwarber, Ben Rice, Junior Caminero, Jordan Walker, Bryce Harper, Willson Contreras, Munetaka Murakami, and Jac Caglianone.

The broadcast will also include an appearance from the cast of Netflix’s upcoming Will Ferrell-led comedy The Hawk, as well as iconic ring announcer Michael Buffer.
