The couples of Married At First Sight Season 20 are officially wed, and the receptions are now upon us.

Singer-songwriter BelléJolie and sanitation worker Mecca were paired together by the experts in Episode 1 because of their shared values and vision for life. Viewers got to watch as they met for the first time at the alter, and the ceremony was filled laughs. After saying “I do,” the new couple gets to start to know each other at their wedding reception.

In this exclusive clip from this week’s episode of Married At First Sight, bride BelléJolie is approached by Mecca’s father, Logic, to see how she truly feels about his son.

“I’m a principal, so I ask principal type questions” he told her, before asking her to rate Mecca on a scale from 1-10.

BelléJolie answered honestly, replying with a pretty high number. “1-10, if I’m giving a number… Imma say 9,” she said.

Logic was not expecting a score so high! His response was just a long drawn out, “dang.” However, BelléJolie stood her ground.

“I love his personality,” she admitted. “I was scared about that. I was scared that it was gonna be somebody dry.”

From Episode 1, fans at home could tell Mecca’s personality was anything but dry. He was cracking jokes before they even officially started the ceremony. During their wedding, Mecca said he got his personality from his father, so it is only right that Logic agrees. The clip ends with BelléJolie saying how genuine Mecca seems.

“It just feels authentic,” she said.
