Three girls have been arrested after an acid attack in New Jersey left six women with sickening burns.

The group of women, including three teens, allegedly had sulfuric acid hurled on them while in a car by people on a moped in a cowardly drive-by attack in Jersey City, according to officials.

The female trio, aged 13, 14, and 15, are accused of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon causing bodily injury, among other charges.

The incident appeared targeted and “may have stemmed from an earlier dispute among a large group,” according to a statement from the city’s Department of Public Safety.

All six victims were rushed to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, including burns and peeling skin caused by the corrosive substance.

One of the victims, a 21-year-old, was “treated for second-degree burns to her face and scalp,” spokesperson Kim Wallace Scalcione said.

The arrests were announced Tuesday — almost a month after the shocking attack on June 15 on Wilkinson Avenue.

However, the teens were arrested following the incident on June 16 and 17, Scalcione said.

The investigation is ongoing.
