Deal collapses to sell J.Lo’s $50M Beverly Hills mansion in property’s latest stroke of bad luck

Jennifer Lopez is back to square one.

The Bronx-born bombshell is, once again, looking for a deep-pocketed buyer to grab her $50 million mansion in Beverly Hills. That’s because a potential suitor who had entered into escrow to call it home walked away from it — even after throwing down a “substantial” deposit, TMZ reports.

It’s unclear as to what specifically made the deal collapse. The prospective new owner, still unidentified, was said to be a big name in tech and finance.

On Monday, The Post reported that after two years on the market, $18 million in discounts and a divorce from Ben Affleck — with whom she would have shared this 46,000-square-foot behemoth — that buyer had come forward.

That seemed to mark the end of a lengthy saga of trying to offload the 12-bathroom dwelling, which the then-couple bought in 2023 for approximately $61 million. They also poured millions into a renovation.

They split up roughly a year later and finalized their divorce in early 2025, during which time Lopez took full control of the property.

Like their romantic relationships, the residence has had its fair share of ups and downs. Around this time in 2024, it listed for $68 million before seeing its price reduced. It most recently asked that $50 million sum.

Still, it features the over-the-top trappings typical of luxury listings. A home theater has stadium seating for 100 people and the dining room has space for 30 guests. To keep Lopez in camera-ready shape, there’s even a “glam” room with a hair-washing basin and theater-style vanity mirrors.

Branden and Rayni Williams, of the Beverly Hills Estates, have the listing.
