Transgender Dem party leader arrested after violent role-play ‘scene’ — as ex reveals disturbing twist

A transgender Democratic Party leader was arrested after allegedly bursting into the Arizona home of an ex-lover with a knife and duct tape to act out a kinky role-play “scene” — with the former flame denying the violent act was agreed to.

Brianna Westbrook, 41 — the former vice chair of the Arizona Democratic Party and its current education coordinator — is accused of breaking into the ex-partner’s Phoenix home on July 10 on pushing the alleged victim onto couch with orders to stay put, according to the Phoenix New Times.

The victim said Westbrook knocked on her front door, and when she answered it, Westbrook pushed her way inside, according to the Phoenix New Times. The victim screamed, leading the ex’s sister to race into the living room, when “Westbrook started making a lunging motion with the knife” before fleeing, police said.

When cops got to the Democrat Socialists of America member at the suspect’s residence, Westbrook chalked the whole thing up to a “misunderstanding.”

Westbrook told police that the pair “agreed to re-enact a scene where Westbrook scares the victim to help her deal with prior childhood trauma of abuse” and that the two were “into BDSM.”

The suspect said the alleged victim was aware because the ex sent a “subliminal message on Instagram,” where photos from Westbrook’s account show the Dem wearing in racy, chain-linked garments.

Westbrook also said the knife was fake and blamed the alleged victim for not informing her family about the “scene.”

Westbrook said it was the victim’s “responsibility to inform her friends and family about the scene that is being re-enacted,” police added.

The Democrat, who worked as the Southwest Regional Co-Chair of the Democratic Socialists of America Immigrant Rights National Working Group, has been charged with third-degree burglary and aggravated assault using a simulated deadly weapon. Both are felony charges.

Phoenix cops also charged Westbrook with misdemeanor disorderly conduct.

Westbrook is out on $15,000 bond, with a court appearance set for Monday.

Westbrook became the highest-ranking transgender person in the Arizona Democratic Party and unsuccessfully ran for a congressional seat in 2018.
