Eugenie Bouchard has bikini-filled vacation in Italy after new career takes off at Wimbledon

Eugenie Bouchard treated herself to some fun in Italy after taking a massive step in her post-tennis career.
The former star player posted a pair of bikini-filled Instagram collages after serving as an announcer at Wimbledon less than a year after her final match.
Her first post, captioned “never say to como” in reference to Italy’s famous Lake Como, mostly featured the 32-year-old modeling a biking and swimming during a boat day, plus one candid shot while she appeared to be eating gelato or some other item in the ice cream family.
Bouchard’s second post Thursday, captioned “vacationmaxxing,” showcased her out and about in Italy, although she also included some additional bikini shots.
One photo captured her indulging in a pasta course at night, while another featured her looking at fireworks through a window.
The Italian getaway comes shortly after she served as a commentator for BBC during the latest edition of Wimbledon in London.
Bouchard posted plenty of content to her Instagram page during the tournament, including one featuring clips from a BBC segment alongside Martina Navratilova and Billie Jean-King.
“Excerpts from the @bbcsport desk! I feel extremely lucky that I get to work with legends like Martina & BJK 🥹🙏🏼,” Bouchard wrote.
She followed that remark with a cheeky dig at her own career compared to the tennis legends.
“Who does not belong lol,” she wrote.
Wimbledon has always been kind to the Canada native, with Bouchard appearing in the 2014 Final in a losing effort to Peta Kvitova.
It marked her best showing in a Grand Slam in her career.
Bouchard announced last July she would retire after the Canadian Open, and has since transitioned into the sports media world.
She indicated she’ll be back at Wimbledon again next year.
“Wimbledon’ed out,” she captioned one post. “See you next year 🤍.”
