Maxx Crosby releases song putting an end to trade rumors ‘Raider Way’

Maxx Crosby might’ve just put an end to all rumors that he wants to be traded from the Las Vegas Raiders.

Crosby released a new rap song on Thursday night called “Raider Way.”

The song is a 2-minute 48-second music video that shows highlights of Crosby playing with the Raiders, as well as clips of him with team owner Mark Davis, indicating he wants to remain a member of the Raiders.

The chorus throughout the song says, “That’s that Raider way.” With other lines in the song following saying “Black shirt, silver hat, feeling like Bo [Jackson],” as well as “Shoutout Oakland, shoutout Vegas, yeah we run LA.”

Since a potential trade was canceled at the last second, sending Crosby to the Baltimore Ravens this past March, his name has circulated amongst trade rumors across the NFL, despite saying multiple times, he wants to move past the trade and focus on rebuilding his relationship with the Raiders.

By releasing Raider Way, it’s probably safe to say Crosby won’t be getting traded by the time Las Vegas reports for training camp on July 23.

Crosby releasing Raider Way isn’t the first time he’s made a cryptic message through music this offseason, as he released a snippet of a song last February, where he was rapping about the Bay Area, igniting speculation that he wanted to be traded to the San Francisco 49ers.

In an interview with the media following a Raiders team practice, he admitted that music has always been an important part of his life, as he and his friends used it as a way to keep them from getting into trouble.

Aside from making music and being in the center of trade rumors this past offseason, Crosby has been busy nursing himself back from a torn meniscus injury he suffered at the end of last season.

Recently, he said he feels like he is ahead of schedule and has been feeling the healthiest he’s ever been over the last two years.
