Fantasy managers got a good scare when Brewers ace Jacob Misiorowski was scratched from his final start before the All-Star break because of arm fatigue.

Though he likely will take the mound when Milwaukee plays the Mets this week, the word “fatigue” is not something fantasy managers ever want associated with a pitcher leading the league in nearly every statistical category.

Misiorowski said he’s ready to go for the second half, but that doesn’t mean fantasy managers shouldn’t be preparing for the worst-case scenario (i.e. workload reduction or IL stint). This is a flamethrower who’s already pitched 111 innings after pitching 129 ¹/₃ innings (minors and majors) last year.

He’s also thrown an insane 670 pitches over 100 mph.
