Tom Brady And Logan Paul Have Heated (And Maybe Fake?) Exchange At Fanatics Fest

There has been a new development in the bizarre feud between seven-time Super Bowl winner Tom Brady and influencer-wrestler Logan Paul.

At this year’s Fanatics Fest NYC, things got heated in a confrontation between Tom Brady and Logan Paul at the Javits Center on Friday, July 16th.

In a video posted by the Fanatics official X page, Brady and Paul get in each other’s faces onstage, exchanging words until Brady open-palm smacks Paul on the side of the head. Before the “fight” can escalate, NBA champ and Knicks center Karl-Anthony Towns gets in between them and escorts Paul offstage.

Many people believe that the altercation was staged, and it’s not hard to imagine why. Paul is a YouTuber-turned-wrestler who has never been one to shy away from a publicity stunt. In June 2022, Paul signed with WWE as a performer on Raw. With his established connection to WWE and penchant for stirring up controversies for clout, it isn’t a reach to guess that Paul could be setting the stage for a WWE bout between himself and Tom Brady.

This wouldn’t be completely out of the blue for Brady, who was rumored to make a WrestleMania 42 appearance in April of this year. While he did not ultimately appear at the event, Brady recently reaffirmed his interest in making his WWE debut while speaking with pro wrestler Cody Rhodes at a live taping of Rhodes’s “What Do You Wanna Talk About?” podcast at Day 1 of Fantatics Fest this past Thursday.

“I need to get an invite. I’ve been waiting for [WWE president] Nick Khan to come up with some storyline for me to get in the mix,” Brady said before name-dropping Rob “Gronk” Gronkowski and Logan Paul as athletes he’d like to follow down the WWE pipeline.

This is far from the first time that Brady has brought up or interacted with Paul, with their apparent feud beginning earlier this year when Tom Brady appeared as a guest on a February episode of the Impaulsive podcast. The two exchanged trash talk that sparked an ongoing rivalry that has mostly played out on social media until their recent physical clash at Fanatics Fest.

After the event, Paul took to X to call Brady a “horrible example for the kids,” prompting the retired NFL player to clap back with a response promising to “try again.”

While there is currently no confirmation as to whether this slap was genuine or staged, it seems like the Brady-Paul feud is far from over. So, whether it’s by WWE fight or talking it out, Tom Brady and Logan Paul seem prepared to settle the score one way or another in the months ahead.
