When one Paramount+ hit ends, another is right there to take its place.

The Season 1 finale of Dutton Ranch premiered on July 3. Thankfully, the series has already (unsurprisingly) been renewed for a second season, but Rip and Beth’s absence leaves a cattle-ranch-sized hole in our streaming schedule. Thankfully, the third season of Taylor Sheridan’s Lioness premieres in early August on Paramount+. But we’re here to talk about the return of a different Sheridan series: Landman.

The second season finale of the Billy Bob Thornton-led drama debuted in January 2026. Honestly, it’s been way too long without a new episode, so when can we expect Landman Season 3 to drop on Paramount+?

Is Landman Airing a New Episode Tonight on Paramount+ (July 19)?

Nope. Sadly, there’s no new episode of Landman this week. The show has been on hiatus ever since its Season 2 finale debuted on January 18, 2026.

Will Landman Be Back For Season 3?

You know it! Paramount renewed Landman for Season 3 in December 2025, praising the show for its record streaming numbers.

Has The Landman Season 3 Release Date Been Announced?

Not yet. Paramount+ hasn’t officially announced a Landman Season 3 release date. Seasons 1-2 of the beloved drama debuted in November of 2024 and 2025, respectively, so we were expecting a November 2026 return. Unfortunately, it looks like 2026 is a bit too optimistic for Season 3.

During a recent appearance on Howie Mandel’s podcast, series star Billy Bob Thornton confirmed production was delayed until “the end of August” in Fort Worth, Texas, which will obviously push the Season 3 release date.

Again, there’s no official release date, but we expect Landman Season 3 to return in early 2027 on Paramount+.
