The Issue: Admitting he can’t arrest Benjamin Netan­yahu, Mayor Mamdani calls him a “war criminal.”

Hold the front page; the mayor discovered that he can’t arrest Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu (“Zoh is all bark, no cuffs for Bibi,” July 22).

He knew full well that he could not arrest Netanyahu, but wouldn’t drop the talk until he got boxed in by critics. Nothing has been gained from this except fanning the flames of Jew- and Israeli-hate, and spreading the false claim of genocide.

Mamdani’s silence with regard to Russia, Iran and other violent countries, as compared to Israel, reflects his selective politics. He should stick to governing New York City, and keep his disturbing views to himself.

Mamdani, who brands Netanyahu as a “war criminal,” doesn’t recognize the historical irony of such a slur. Netanyahu’s older brother was the only Israeli commando killed during the daring 1976 Entebbe raid, which rescued 102 hostages and 12 crew members taken hostage by Palestinian and German terrorists.

Mamdani no doubt has more respect for Uganda’s brutal former dictator Idi Amin, who tried but failed to protect the anti-Israel hijackers, as compared to Bibi’s sibling, who sacrificed his life. When Netanyahu speaks to the United Nations, I hope he makes note of this.

Mamdani does not speak for me when he says that the prime minister of Israel is not welcome in New York City. It is obvious the mayor is trying to score points in the national socialist world.

If he wants to be appalled at crimes, he should look to Oct. 7, 2023, and the massacre that occurred in Israel. By the way, that is one that his wife chose to celebrate.

My message to the mayor: Read your job description and stay in your lane.

We have evil factions working and supporting groups like the DSA who blatantly and openly want to destroy our country.

What many politicians don’t seem to understand is that if Israel is destroyed, America will be next. That is the DSA’s ultimate agenda.

The mayor cites the rag-tag International Criminal Court, which has no legal standing in America or Israel. He never mentions all the genocidal dictators who visit the United Nations annually.

Oct. 7 and the Holocaust are definitions of genocide. Vladimir Putin is committing genocide on Ukrainians. The Iranian mullahs recently murdering thousands of their own people may be genocide. Stupid leftist propagandists must learn the true meaning of the word.

My suggestion to the Israeli government is to get an Israeli judge to issue an arrest warrant for Mandami, charging him with libel against Israelis. The Israeli government should then ask the US Justice Department to honor the request for him to be extradited to Israel to stand trial.

It would be poetic justice seeing the antisemite mayor being led in handcuffs on to an El Al jet heading for Israel.

Again, Mamdani is showing his ignorance in wanting to find a way to arrest Netanyahu when he comes to New York. That’s like me saying I would like to arrest Mamdani if he ever came to East Haven because I feel he would like to destroy the American way of life and my religion.
