“Fox & Friends First” co-host Carley Shimkus has welcomed a baby boy, the network announced Monday.

Shimkus, 39; her husband, Peter Buchignani; and their first son, three-year-old Brock, have welcomed baby boy Harrison to their growing family.

“We have a brand-new member of the ‘Fox & Friends’ family. Carley Shimkus, giving birth to her son, Harrison. And we are so happy to report both mom and baby are doing great,” correspondent Ashely Strohmier said Monday.

“Fox & Friends First” co-host Carley Shimkus has welcomed a baby boy, Harrison, the network announced Monday.

“And I think these two look so similar, Brock and Harrison, they’re so precious, and Carley looks so great, oh my gosh,” she continued.

Fox News anchor Ainsley Earhardt added: “Our assistant, we walked into the hospital room on day two, and she [Shimkus] looked amazing. Without a stitch of makeup on, looked amazing, and she’s holding this baby.”

Brian Kilmeade, an anchor at the network, noted that Buchignani had played football at Princeton, while the co-hosts agreed that he would be in “heaven” with two baby boys.

“So now they got to make a decision. The big decision is, Steve, does Carley go to New Jersey or Long Island? Because she’s got to get out of the city,” Kilmeade said.

Fox News anchor Steve Doocy exclaimed: “She’s got to go to Jersey. Her family’s in New Jersey, come on! We had the World Cup!”

Shimkus – who stepped into her role as a morning news host in 2021 after starting with Fox News as a production assistant in 2009 – announced her pregnancy in March on the show.

“My husband and I and Brock, my son, who’s now three, are so excited,” Shimkus said at the time. “Baby number two is going to be due at the end of July.”

After revealing that her second baby would also be a boy, Shimkus said: “I pray that they’re going to be the best of friends throughout their whole entire life.”

Shimkus and Buchignani, who works in sales, were married in New Jersey in 2015, two years after they started dating.

The couple welcomed their first child, Brock, in January 2023.
