Dancing with the Stars: The Next Pro continues its hot streak with Episode 3.
The reality competition show designed to find the next Dancing with the Stars pro has fans seated to see who will join the current pro dancers in the upcoming season. Episode 3 brings in current pro Britt Stewart to help teach the contestants a crucial element of being a Dancing with the Stars pro: dancing in a group.
For the first time this season, the contestants were all dancing together in a group number taught by Britt Stewart. They then performed the piece for judges Mark Ballas and Shirley Ballas, and two dancers—Nina Mayster and Tristan Sanders —were declared the weakest.
Luckily for those Mayster and Sanders, they were not eliminated and instead were picked to captain smaller groups. Each group was given a style of dance and the same amount of time to come up with choreography. After performing their small group numbers for the judges, two dancers were once again up for elimination, but who went home? Read on to find out what happened in a shocking elimination.

The elimination on Dancing with the Stars: The Next Pro Episode 3 came as a major shock to both the audience and the dancers. 20-year-old champion ballroom dancer Natalie Jolley was eliminated from the show; however, it was not because of her performance.
During the group dance rehearsal, Natalie suffered an injury and had to be taken to the hospital. Throughout the episode, the team kept the dancers informed of her condition, but it was revealed at the end of the episode that she was not cleared to continue competing on the show.
How was Natalie injured?
The challenge for this week on Dancing with the Stars: The Next Pro was dancing in a group. Spatial awareness was emphasized as a crucial part of the challenge. Unfortunately, there were still missteps. During rehearsal, Natalie Jolley suffered an injury after fellow competitor Stephanie Sosa accidentally hit her in the face. Natalie was taken to the hospital with a swollen eye and dizziness. She was not cleared to dance and was therefore eliminated from the show.
Was there still another official elimination on Dancing with the Stars: The Next Pro?

In the second half of the episode, Mayster and Sanders were given the opportunity to prove themselves as team leaders for the smaller groups. Tristan’s group performed a Paso Doble, while Nina’s group performed a Tango.
In the end, Nina’s group was saved, and the bottom two of the week were Tristan and commercial dancer Selena Hamilton. Neither of them was sent home because of Natalie’s injury.
