Using the Ulike Air 10 couldn’t be simpler, but getting the prep right is key. Everything you need comes right in the box: the device, a long power cord, dark UV-protective goggles, a travel pouch and even a mini razor. Because IPL targets hair pigment at the root, you must shave first so the light doesn’t singe surface hair. Once your skin is clean and dry, you plug it in and put on the protective goggles before turning on the device. From there, it’s just a matter of pressing the window flat against your skin and holding the button to activate Auto-Glide mode, which lets you continuously slide down your legs in under eight minutes, while quick spots like underarms take barely two. I used it three times a week as directed, finishing each 10-minute session with a layer of gentle moisturizer, and it was a seamless addition to my evening routine on session days.

Getting started takes seconds. You plug it in, power up and glide. I started on Normal mode using the continuous Auto-Glide feature. The cooling feature is the real deal — the window feels comfortably cold against the skin, entirely masking any heat. It was totally painless.
