Earlier this month, World Cup fever took over Flatiron as Brazilian soccer icons Ronaldo Nazário and Roberto Carlos drew hundreds of adoring fans to Aqua New York for a special meet-and-greet hosted in partnership with MVPs.

“By the time Ronaldo and Roberto Carlos made their entrance, the scene had turned into organized chaos,” a source told Page Six. “Paparazzi sprinted from entrance to entrance trying to anticipate the duo’s arrival, with crowds of fans racing behind them each time, creating a frenzy.”

We’re told multiple fans fainted on the scene after getting a chance to pose with the athletes.
