‘Wonder Woman’ star Lynda Carter stuns fans with age-defying beauty at 75: ‘Timeless’

Lynda Carter, who played the superheroine in the 70s TV series of the same name, proved she is seemingly aging backwards in a new Instagram post shared earlier this week.

The photos, which included one of her lounging in an outdoor bath, next to a martini, prompted dozens of admiring comments.

“I truly thought this was a still from a Wonder Woman episode,” gushed one netizen. “Lynda is timeless.”

“My God, is she getting younger?!😍,” wrote one fan, while another noted, “YES YES YES you’re still a stunner. Show it all our forever Wonder Woman ❤️🙌🔥.”

“Can’t wait! And @reallyndacarter you look amazing!! You don’t age!!” chimed in another fan.

Other pics included her with “Succession” alum Brian Cox and director Jay Chandrasekhar.

“@supertroopers Ride Again!!!,” she wrote alongside them. “Follow them and us (returning cast) For a fantastic road romp!! But….wait for it…the last scene! I’m naked in a bathtub???? Oh noooo, @jaychandrasekhar you promised not to show that!”

Carter, who turned 75 on July 24, shared the carousel of pics to promote her role in the upcoming comedy, “Super Troopers 3,” which hits theaters on August 7.

She is reprising her role of Governor Jessman, having starred in the 2001 original and its 2018 sequel.

Carter, who got her start as a beauty pageant star, was crowned Miss World USA in 1972 and finished in the top 15 at the Miss World 1972 pageant. She found fame for her portrayal of Wonder Woman in the TV series that ran from 1975 to 1979.

“It has meant so much to me to be Wonder Woman — she really is just the best!!” she wrote in an Instagram post celebrating the evening. “Back then, the executives didn’t think a woman could carry a whole TV series …shows how much they knew! Ha! More than ever, the world still needs Wonder Woman. She is within all of us and don’t you forget it!”

In January 2025, Carter became the unexpected star of Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week, when she posed with her daughter, singer Jessica Carter Altman, 35, outside the Schiaparelli show.

She is also mom to son James, 38, whom she shared with her late husband, Robert Altman.
