The Los Angeles Dodgers and Boston Red Sox will wrap up a three-game weekend series tonight with a Sunday Night Baseball spotlight.

With a win tonight, the Dodgers will avoid being swept by the Red Sox. Boston has won both Friday and Saturday’s games with scores of 9-4 and 3-2 respectively.

The biggest baseball news out of Los Angeles this weekend, though, has nothing to do with Boston. Late Saturday night, it was reported that the Dodgers acquired Tigers ace Tarik Skubal, the reigning back-to-back AL Cy Young winner.

In return, the Tigers received three prospects: outfielder Zyhir Hope and right-handers River Ryan and Brady Smith.
