The Cubs, as part of the deal, will send outfielder Brett Bateman and infielder Ty Southisene to Toronto for the veteran starter, The Athletic reported.

The move adds another arm to the Cubs’ rotation that has playoff experience and a 4.38 ERA in 23 starts this season.
